Announcing the Solana Frontier Hackathon
Start building on the frontier and compete in the Solana Foundation hackathon, powered by Colosseum!

We are excited to release all of the details regarding Solana's Frontier Hackathon! Crypto's largest startup competition will be once again powered through Colosseum’s online platform and run April 6 through May 11, 2026.

As with previous Colosseum hackathons, builders will compete for prizes, pre-seed funding, and acceptance into Colosseum's accelerator program. Colosseum's venture fund will be deploying over $2.5 million into select winning founders. Visit our official website for more information and sign up for the hackathon today!

Colosseum’s hackathons are not structured like traditional hackathons. They are intensive engineering and business sprints where elite developers vie for prizes and pre-seed funding. As such, we have removed all tracks and bounties.

Frontier will award $30,000 to one Grand Champion, for the most impactful product submission. We will then award $10,000 to each of the next best 20 startups. Finally, we will award two additional $10,000 prizes to the best submission built by a university team and the most complete public goods project.

All hackathon prize winners will be interviewed and evaluated for Colosseum’s accelerator. 10+ winners will be accepted into the program, and each will receive $250,000 in pre-seed funding, access to an exclusive mentorship network, substantial AI credits, IRL support in Colosseum's San Francisco office, and more. Colosseum will also host a private Demo Day where accelerator teams will have the opportunity to pitch the leading VCs in crypto.

To set yourself and your team up for success, we highly encourage all builders to join the hackathon livestream workshops in Discord and review our post on How to Win a Colosseum Hackathon. The guide covers how to approach team formation, product ideation, prioritization/execution, project submission, and other key factors in excelling in our competition.

Lastly, we'd like to thank this competition's primary and secondary sponsors for their contribution:

Primary: Phantom and Altitude

Secondary: Coinbase, Privy, Metaplex, Reflect, Arcium, World, Raydium, and MoonPay.

Make sure to review the official Developer Resources, and good luck to all hackathon participants!
