Colosseum Codex: Seeker Connect, Tokenization on Solana, GoSVM

🎉 Alpenglow just went live without a hitch! Transactions now finalize in about 150 milliseconds instead of 12.8 seconds. Anza unveiled Alpenglow on stage at Solana Accelerate on May 19, 2025, and getting it to mainnet took what Anza calls 18 months of work. The switch itself took coordination across the entire Solana community, with validators, RPC providers, and app teams all updating their software before activation.

📱 Seeker Connect

Solana Mobile shipped Seeker Connect, an SDK for apps that want Seeker owners to reach their phone's built-in wallet without going through a generic wallet list. It works in native Android, React Native, and mobile web apps, and it runs on top of Mobile Wallet Adapter (MWA), so other wallets still connect the way they did before.

Standard MWA has users tap a generic "Mobile Wallet Adapter" option and then pick a wallet on a second screen. Seeker Connect lists Seeker by name and icon inside an app's existing wallet picker, which takes a single registration call for apps on Wallet Standard.

Apps can also add a branded Connect with Seeker button that skips the picker entirely, with a sign-in variant for Sign In With Solana (SIWS) flows.

The SDK caches the wallet's auth token, so returning users stay connected across reloads without the wallet relaunching. It ships the progress overlay and error dialogs, and it returns separate errors for a user declining in the wallet, dismissing the sheet, and relay or association failures. Signing covers messages, transactions, sign-and-send, and SIWS.

Web apps install @solana-mobile/seeker-connect-wallet-standard and React Native apps use @solana-mobile/seeker-connect-react-native. Docs, a sample app, and a live web demo are up now, and WalletConnect and Privy samples are on the roadmap.

🏦 RWA Tokenization Report

RWA Foundation published a report that sizes Solana's real-world asset market and profiles the companies building it, from Securitize, BlackRock, and Ondo to lenders like Kamino and dozens of smaller issuers and stablecoins.

The report finds Solana's RWA market wide by wallet count and concentrated by dollar value. Retail buyers of tokenized stocks drive the holder numbers, while a few institutional products hold most of the money.

Key figures, from rwa.xyz and Token Terminal data:

  • $4.37B in distributed RWAs, up from $1.08B a year earlier
  • 1.5M tokenized stock holder addresses, about 92% of holders across stocks, commodities, and funds
  • BlackRock's BUIDL, Huma's PST, and Ctrl Alt's two private equity tokens hold $1.99B, about 45% of the total, across 3,997 wallets
  • Tokenized Treasuries are the largest class at $1.52B
  • Solana handled 15.1% of tokenized stock DEX volume over 90 days, behind BNB Chain and Robinhood Chain

The report ends by sorting the builders by job: some issue funds, some lend against them, and some move dollars for banks, card networks, and state governments. Its shorter profiles include Colosseum portfolio companies Hylo, whose hyUSD stablecoin is backed by staked SOL, and Reflect, whose USDC+ earns yield from delta-neutral strategies.

🟢 goSVM

CrocSwap open-sourced goSVM, a compiler that turns Go into programs for Solana as an unaudioted public alpha. goSVM compiles a subset of Go into SBF programs that run without a Go runtime or garbage collector.

The repo's tutorial builds a sample counter program with a PDA state account, tests it natively and in a local SVM, deploys it to devnet, and calls it from Go in about half an hour.

CrocSwap founder Doug Colkitt says rewriting some of Solana's largest programs in Go cut cold build times 100x, disk use 1000x, build memory 10x, and onchain rent 2-10x.

He also says goSVM used slightly fewer compute units than the Rust toolchain on two of three programs, though the repo's own Whirlpools swap port uses about 1.28x Rust's compute units. Colkitt says programs built with goSVM will soon be formally verifiable with the Lean kernel by default.

Know these 6 programs by heart - @r0bre
Accretion's r0bre lists six programs Solana auditors should know cold (System, Token, Associated Token Account, Metaplex Token Metadata, Token-2022, and the upgradeable BPF loader) and the check to make for each.

Is Crypto Infrastructure Really Dead? Jito and JTX - @ditto_anc
Ditto argues that building is now cheap while winning users is still expensive, so apps that own an audience are winning the Fat Protocols vs. Fat Apps fight, and uses Jito's JTX trading app to show an infrastructure team going after customers of its own.

Order Flow Auctions: The New Private Mempools - @buffalu__
Jito CEO buffalu argues that order flow auctions, now on an estimated 30-40% of stake, are private mempools that let searchers frontrun and sandwich Solana users, and that validators, stakers, and apps should judge them by execution quality.

Talking Tokens

In today's Solana Sessions episode of Talking Tokens, Jacquelyn sits down with Todd McDonald, co-founder of R3, to discuss how institutional blockchain has evolved over the past decade and why R3 is moving from private blockchain networks toward open markets, including building the next version of Corda as a protocol on Solana.

Todd explains why he believes all markets will eventually move onchain, what banks actually want from blockchain today, why R3 concluded that open networks win, and how tokenization can connect traditional assets with capital already living onchain.

They also discuss why R3 chose Solana, what institutions care about when selecting blockchain infrastructure, and why fixed income and alternative assets could be among the next major markets for tokenization.
