💵 Reflect Whitelabel

Reflect,  the grand champion winner of Colosseum's Radar hackathon, launched Whitelabel, a permissionless framework for issuing custom yield-bearing stablecoins on top of Reflect's infrastructure. 

Three launch partners are already building on the framework: 

• Titan Exchange is routing all Whitelabel yieldcoins through its DEX aggregator
• Umbra Privacy is deploying a privacy-native yieldcoin on its privacy layer
• Motocard is integrating yield into its onchain credit card product.

Protocols define the token's specs, economics, and yield logic while Reflect handles the underlying infrastructure.

Deployment is open to anyone, either self-serve or through a white-glove path where Reflect assists with structure design, yield configuration, backing, and incentive alignment.

📊 Solana Staking Index

The Solana Staking Index (SSI) launched as a standardized benchmark for Solana's baseline staking yield. 

The SSI team draws an explicit parallel to SOFR, the rate that replaced LIBOR in traditional finance: a manipulation-resistant, transaction-derived benchmark that serves as a neutral reference point.

SSI is calculated per epoch (~2–3 days) using staking inflation rewards and validator fees, measured across every active validator on the network.

MEV is excluded because payout policies vary widely across validators and would make cross-validator comparisons unreliable. The result is a gross annualized yield before commissions

The index is open-source, fully verifiable on-chain, and governed by no single party. A public JSON API lets developers pull the full SSI time-series with epoch, APY, issuance rate, and block rewards breakdown. 

The dashboard also includes a Compare feature for overlaying individual validators or LSTs against the benchmark.

🚀 Metaplex App

Metaplex launched the Metaplex App, a token launch platform built on the Metaplex protocol, which has facilitated $10B+ in transaction value and underpins 99% of Solana tokens and NFTs across 923M assets and 11.5M unique signers.

Launch pools are the first of three planned sale mechanics, with auctions and presales coming soon.

The uncapped method eliminates front-running and sniping by giving all participants the same price, with pro-rata token allocation based on share of deposits during a defined window.

All tokens auto-migrate liquidity to Raydium. Project tokens must send at least 20% of launch pool proceeds as dedicated liquidity, unlocked quarterly over one year. Memecoins send 98%.

Introducing the Metaplex App

🔎 AI Program Audits

Exo Technologies released an AI-powered smart contract auditing tool for Solana, positioning it as a low-cost alternative to traditional security reviews. 

The beta service runs analyses for $5–50 per submission, compared to the $50,000–$500,000+ typical of formal audits.

Developers submit code via GitHub link or direct upload. The system scans for vulnerabilities, generates severity-rated reports, and provides remediation guidance. Analysis is completed in minutes rather than the 2–8 weeks a manual audit requires.

The tool targets projects that lack the budget for formal audits, addressing a gap where cost often prevents security review entirely during early-stage development.

The platform is explicitly experimental: outputs are non-deterministic and require developer review. Exo recommends against using it as a substitute for formal audits on production systems managing significant funds.

Step Finance, SolanaFloor, and Remora Markets shut down after a Jan. 31 exploit drained $40 million from Step's treasury and fee wallets, with subsequent acquisition and financing efforts failing to produce a viable path forward. Step is preparing a STEP token buyback based on a pre-exploit snapshot. Remora rToken holders will be able to redeem for USDC, with all rTokens remaining backed one-to-one.
