Announcing the Winners of the Solana Cypherpunk Hackathon
Colosseum is thrilled to announce the results of the Solana Cypherpunk Hackathon, a global online competition focused on bringing the next wave of high-impact products into the Solana ecosystem. Cypherpunk was the 12th Solana Foundation hackathon and the 4th run by Colosseum. The competition brought together founders and developers from 150+ countries to build products spanning Infrastructure, Consumer, DeFi, Stablecoins, RWAs, and a long-tail of Undefined Applications.

More than 9,000 participants teamed up to submit 1,576 final projects, making Cypherpunk the largest crypto hackathon to date. Phantom, Arcium, Forward Industries, Raydium, Reflect, and Triton joined the Solana Foundation as sponsors for the hackathon, offering a platform for crypto founders to jumpstart their journey.

"The ideas and founders emerging from the Solana Cypherpunk Hackathon are driving real momentum, and the next wave of products will strengthen the ecosystem."
Without further ado, here are the winners…
Grand Champion
Unruggable, a new hardware wallet and companion app built for Solana, will receive $30,000 USDC.
Consumer Track
The first prize goes to Capitola, a prediction markets meta-aggregator, with an award of $25,000 in USDC.
Additional prizes went to:
- Second: Superfan, a new a meta-record label for artists and their fans.
- Third: Fora, a group chat based trading platform and prediction market protocol.
- Fourth: Toaster.trade, a TikTok-style socialfi platform powered by Hyperliquid and Solana
- Fifth: Nomu, a marketplace where you can buy products and get rewarded for being early.
Although they did not win any prizes, we would also like to recognize, in no particular order, the work of the following honorable mentions:
DeFi Track
The first prize goes to Yumi Finance, an onchain “buy now, pay later” solution that handles underwriting to loan origination, with an award of $25,000 in USDC.
Additional prizes went to:
- Second: Kormos, a yield generation platform with a fractional reserves primitive.
- Third: Rekt, a mobile app for gamified trading.
- Fourth: Archer, a trading engine utilizing dual flow batch auctions.
- Fifth: Hobba, a payments platform leveraging self repaying loans.
Although they did not win any prizes, we would also like to recognize, in no particular order, the work of the following honorable mentions:
Infrastructure Track
The first prize goes to Seer, transaction debugging developer platform on Solana, with an award of $25,000 in USDC.
Additional prizes went to:
- Second: Corbits, an open-source x402 endpoint dashboard for merchants.
- Third: Ionic, a data aggregation layer for Solana.
- Fourth: Pine Analytics, data analytics infra and querying platform.
- Fifth: Hyperstack, a platform combining various tools to handle product infra.
Although they did not win any prizes, we would also like to recognize, in no particular order, the work of the following honorable mentions:
RWA Track
The first prize goes to Autonom, a specialized oracle for RWAs, with an award of $25,000 in USDC.
Additional prizes went to:
- Second: Bore.fi, tokenized SME private equity protocol.
- Third: Legasi, a compliant credit layer using Lombard loans.
- Fourth: Pencil Finance, a protocol bringing student loans onchain.
- Fifth: Watchtower, onchain asset-backed financing for space infrastructure projects.
Although they did not win any prizes, we would also like to recognize, in no particular order, the work of the following honorable mentions:
Stablecoin Track
The first prize goes to MCPay, open payment infrastructure connecting MCP and x402, with an award of $25,000 in USDC.
Additional prizes went to:
- Second: Credible, stablecoin rails for remittance to India.
- Third: Cloak, an OS private payments product.
- Fourth: Mercantill, enterprise banking infrastructure for AI agents.
- Fifth: Sp3nd, platform enabling stablecoin payments for Amazon products.
Although they did not win any prizes, we would also like to recognize, in no particular order, the work of the following honorable mentions:
Undefined Track
The first prize goes to attn.markets, a protocol for tokenizing revenues to bank onchain businesses, with an award of $25,000 in USDC.
Additional prizes went to:
- Second: Echo, a network for scientists to get matched with funders to better understand scientific research claims.
- Third: PlaiPin, a plush robot companion with a protocol enabling p2p exchange
- Fourth: Solana ATM, a physical machine with a p2p cash/stablecoin liquidity pool.
- Fifth: Humanship ID, a privacy-first human identity layer on Solana.
Although they did not win any prizes, we would also like to recognize, in no particular order, the work of the following honorable mentions:
University Award
The University Award, which recognizes excellence from the best project led by university students across tracks, goes to Pythia, receiving a $10,000 USDC prize.
Public Good Award
The Public Good Award, which recognizes an open-source project that benefits developers across the Solana ecosystem, goes to Samui Wallet, receiving a $10,000 USDC prize.
